It is no secret that Donald Trump is not a huge fan of Barack Obama. In fact, it appears as though the GOP frontrunner seizes every available opportunity to lambast the president’s policies and political tactics. Trump will often criticize Obama’s handling of foreign affairs, specifically scoffing at his deals with nations with competing economies like China and Japan. Additionally, Trump has made it clear that he detests Obama's nuclear deal with Iran, arguing that it is, by and large, the worst deal he has ever seen.
At a campaign event in Nevada yesterday, Trump criticized the president’s deal from a new perspective, this time arguing that the poor deal was made in the name of Obama’s hatred for Israel. Israel is truly “in such a massive amount of trouble,” he noted. Speaking about personal connections he has in Israel, Trump noted that “they actually think Obama hates Israel. I think he does.”
While Trump has never been one to mince his words, this comment against the president was particularly aggressive. It will be interesting to see if Obama responds to this particular attack, as he has criticized Trump’s comments in the past.
Do you agree with Trump that the Iran deal reveals that Obama hates Israel?
