Who says you have to go to New Hampshire to see the leaves on the trees turn? Just come to Wyoming and Montana and see lovely yellow, golden and almost red cottonwood trees. Fall is here in the Big Sky Country. In fact it was 50 degrees when we got up this morning and hardly ever warmed up over 55. Tonight it is cool. Sorry about that Texas I know it is still warm there. But I hear good things about the electricity being up and working soon
We saw fresh snow in the mountain passes today. We also saw lots of dead jackrabbits, some dead coyotes and some poor deer that had hit autos. We also saw a herd of antelopes about 30 I would say. I wanted to get out of the car and go chase them, but George said that I may be very fast, but they are faster. They can also jump fences and I have not learned how to do that yet.
I ate some pork tender loan skin this morning. It had peppers in it and I was feeling the effects all today. But tonight I feel better.
We are in Missoula MT tonight. It must be a college town as there are a lot of bars and casinos here. But we drove over 700 miles today and I don’t think George is up to bar hopping.
We should join up with George’s Sister Sharry and John, Brother Bob and nephew Justin tomorrow in a nice big lake in the mountains in Washington. I will be happy to be there and not having to drive long miles for awhile.
