West with Wilson, #5, Escaping Hurricane Rita’s aftermath:, Oct. 4, 2005

We made it to Washington state and we are staying in a condo at Lake Chelan., a very large lake in Central Washington. We will be here for several days. It is cold outside, 35 degrees but sunny.

We had a long trip from MT. We did see lots of forest and also rain .We went through a town named George in Washington. Yes isn’t that amazing that on this trip we traveled through towns named Wilson and George? George looked like a good town for George. It had a Subway sandwich place, a Casino and a few farm girls. I did not see any dogs.

We are staying at a resort called Wapato Point on the lake. It is a nice place Lots of things to see and places to go to. Lot of trees to smell.

We might even go for a boat ride.
