On to NH. Obama and Hillary and experience vrs change.

Barack Obama could be the next President. I like him and predicted he would win Iowa. He may also get NH. However, he will now get lots of attention on his executive and foreign policy experience. He is a great speaker, a dramatic individual and has shown at least in Iowa that he can appeal to the Independent voters. But is he ready to be the Commander in Chief? That of course is the same question being asked about Senator Clinton. What is her executive experience and military experience? Does being First Lady count? And then John Edwards has some of the same questions. In a way John McCain has all that experience. He says he has been involved in every military and foreign policy in the past 20 years. Milt Romney has the executive experience. Rudy has the executive background but he could hardly be a foreign policy guy. Change is interesting as a campaign slogan. But when it comes right down to it we are under attack around the world and it would be nice to have someone who knows how to undertake our defense. Also the economy in going in the tank and that could well be the major issue in the fall. Who has the plan to help the folks facing unemployment and losing their homes? I think the candidate that shows he or she can protect our nation and help the economy will get the vote and in the end change might not be that important. Anyway the next few weeks will be interesting.
