Poor Rick Perry, now he has 5 candidates saying bad things about him and his ability as our Governor. Between Kinky and Carole Strayhorn who will have the funniest put down? The Gossips are betting on Kinky.

The Gossips were amused when Carole Strayhorn announced her decision to run as an independent, and state Republican Chairman Tina Benkiser then ordered Carole's photograph removed from the walls at GOP headquarters. Oh what a terrible blow to the Strayhorn campaign. Carole however said "That's a perfect example of the kind of partisan politics that people in this state are sick of," And the Gossips think she hit the nail on the head when she said "Rick Perry has so fractionalized this state that it is all us against them."

And in the District State Senate race we have lots of polling done by the Dan Patrick campaign. According to the Patrick campaign the last poll showed that "When asked “if the Republican primary election for State Senate District 7 was held today for whom would you vote,” the randomly selected primary voters responded Patrick (54%), Undecided (20%), Nixon (10%), Hamric (9%) and Ellis (7%). Wow 54% why have the election? The Nixon campaign however said Patrick is confused. " first they issue confusing polls that do not add up to 100 percent, now they issue conflicting statements about the dates their polls were taken. Sung to the “Twelve Days of Christmas” then, that would be “… four polls this summer, three polls in December, two misleading press releases, and a Patrick poll controversy.” Cute but the Gossips had a hard time singing that without also being confused. So what will be the next controversy in this race?
