Rove, Harris County GOP and Perry, Kinky and Carole

So much for the Rove indictment the Gossips wonder just where Truthout got their information and even yesterday they were saying the indictment is coming. They either got confused, got a scope or got bad info. So who knows.

And let's hear it for the Harris County Republican Executive Committee who listened to Dr. Steve Hotze and passed a resolution telling their GOP Governor, Rick Perry to veto his own franchise tax bill. "The largest income tax increase in the history of the world" or something like that. Forget that the Atty General of Texas says it is not an income tax. Why give Carole Strayhorn some more campaign help against the Rick Perry, the Republican nominee for Governor? Strange humans those GOP folks who voted to pass that resolution. The Gossips say it just shows how powerful Dr. Hotze is.

And did you see where the AFL-CIO endorsed Chris Bell on the same day that Strayhorn handed in her over 200,000 signed petitions? No? The Bell endorsement was buried at the bottom of the Strayhorn story. Tough news day for Bell. But labor did stay with the Democrat even though lots of folks thought they might go with Strayhorn. Some of the teacher's unions have endorsed Carole so perhaps labor is split and of course some of the cops are for Perry. The Gossips think the law enforcement folks are staying with the friendly incumbent rule.

Did you watch Kinky last night on the NBC nightly news? This follows a 60 minutes story on Friedman. He better stop the one liners soon and start talking real issues or else he will be out of the running for even last place. The "Gay Marriage" line is getting old. When asked Kinky says " I'm for it they should be just as miserable as the rest of us". The Gossips think that some voters in Texas may not be happy with that response.
