A great Texan died today, Lloyd Bentsen, former U.S.Senator died at age 85. He served 28 years in the House and Senate and served as President Clinton's first treasury secretary. Lloyd Bentsen was a great friend and will be missed. He and his wife, BA, were a great team and true Texans and good Democrats. They don't make them like Lloyd Bentsen anymore.

Another great Texan died yesterday. Jack Cato newsman, TV reporter and the Harris County Treasurer died at age 70. Another great friend and fun guy to be around.
