The Gossips are laughing at Shelley Sekula Gibbs now trying to explain away some of her former positions on issues important to the GOP voters. Her opponent, Pete Olson has an auxiliary site attacking Gibbs on her flip-flops. It's called shelleysaysanything.com.
It documents Dr. Gibbs various positions on abortion, immigration-related matters, taxes and other issues and gives her answers on the flip-flops. She either was a very innocent and naive doctor or she is just plain slow on the uptake. She is a blond isn’t she?
The Gossips know that she told the Gossip that she was pro-choice when she ran for City Council and she filled out a Planned Parenthood questionnaire to that effect. Now she says that she saw an ultrasound that changed her mind, but of course as a doctor she should have seen such pictures way back when she was in medical school or when she had children.
And she says that she did not know that the day labor sites that she helped fund while on city council helped illegal and undocumented laborers. Huh? Where has she been all these years?
It is a well done web site and worth checking out.
And did Hillary Clinton rejected and repudiate the comments from Geraldine Ferraro that Barack Obama would not be where he is if he was not a Black male? Yes she did and Ferraro resigned as a fund raiser for Clinton. But the Gossips want to know if Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee also rejected and repudiate those comments?
That is what Carroll Robinson wanted the Congresswoman to do. In a press release Robinson demanded an apology from Lee who is a national co-chair of the Clinton campaign. Robinson an Obama supporter and a former councilmember and sometime candidate for office might just be thinking he could use Lee’s support for Clinton as a wedge against her in a future race for Congress.
