Obama says Trump could never be president. Do you agree?

While President Obama has not yet offered support for any particular candidate in the 2016 race for the White House, he has certainly made it clear as to which candidates he does NOT support. In recent months, the president has condemned Republican rivals for their stances on immigration and gun control, however he has stayed away (for the most part) from direct attacks on individual candidates.

At an press conference yesterday afternoon, however, Obama made blatant attacks against Republican front-runner Donald Trump, accusing the business mogul of being unfit to run the country. He quipped that running the United States is just slightly more difficult than running a reality TV show, and he pointed to Trump’s hateful rhetoric as evidence that he should not be named Commander in Chief. Furthermore, Obama even predicted that Trump will not be elected into the White House, regardless of his current polling.

“I continue to believe Mr. Trump will not be president. And the reason is because I have a lot of faith in the American people. And I think they recognize that being president is a serious job, it’s not hosting a talk show or a reality show. It’s not promotion, it’s not marketing. It’s hard.”

The Trump-Obama feud has been running its course for quite some time now, yet this is one of the first times that Obama has called out Trump directly for his incompetency.

What do you think about Obama claiming that Trump will not be president?
