Ann Coulter is a regular advocate for restricting immigration to the United States, as she believes the influx of migrants dilutes American culture to a vast extent. She has also made her anti-Islam views well known, frequently denouncing the religion as one of violence and anti-Western values. In the wake of the heinous Paris terror attacks, Coulter went on a Twitter rant, touting her anti-Islam opinions and invoking the U.S. political climate in her reaction.
“Why does NO ONE say the obvious thing on TV?! It's insane. Don't want terrorism in US? Stop importing Muslims!” commented Coulter. She also noted that “100% of TV talk is @ fighting ISIS--IN SYRIA. Bomb away, but isn't there something else we should consider? Like not letting ISIS move here?” These comments are especially relevant at present, seeing that political figureheads have been debating the immigration crisis in Europe for months, as refugees have been fleeing the Middle East in response to political turmoil.
In addition to besmirching Islam, Coulter expressed her support for Donald Trump in her reaction as well. “They can wait if they like until next November for the actual balloting, but Donald Trump was elected president tonight,” she wrote, implying that Trump’s anti-immigration policies would be the optimal means for combating the advent of radical Islam.
